Miki Johnston
Miki Johnston is a board certified Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Masters in Social Work from Loyola University Chicago. With more than 20 years of experience, Miki’s private practice focuses on the treatment of teens, young adults and families
around issues related to anxiety, depression, parent-child conflicts, stress management, and peer related issues.
As an affiliate of Girls to Women Health and Wellness, Miki is a public speaker andworkshop facilitator for NCL, Girl Scouts and many local public and private schools. Her presentations have focused on healthy teen relationships, anxiety, stress management, peer pressure, bullying, social media, resilience, the parent-child bond and sexual health. Her most recent endeavor was publishing a comprehensive sexual health curriculum for educational use in public and private middle and upper schools.
Miki is a dedicated volunteer and has served as an active member of the Child and Family Guidance Centers Board of Directors for more than 8 years. She’s also a proud member of the Highland Park Independent School District Student Health Advisory Committee for 3 years.
Miki has lived in Dallas for 25 years and has 2 teenage daughters.
