Laurene Richards
Laurene Richards is the Director of Marketing for CyrusOne, a Dallas-based data center REIT (real estate investment trust) where Laurene leads the strategic programs that support the development and implementation of brand strategy, including the planning and executing all areas of events, budget and content management for global marketing campaigns.
With a tech industry background, Laurene began her career in Dallas with TexasInstruments as an event manager and expanded her role to include public relations, media and strategic meeting planning. Prior to her in-house roles, she worked as a free-lance writer for reputable companies including EDS, Grubb & Ellis and Continental Teves.
Laurene returned to Dallas in 2006 with her Dallas-native husband, David, followingseveral moves around the country. They enjoy playing golf and traveling as well as spending time with their two adult children. In addition to her board position at CFGC, Laurene volunteers as a reading buddy at the Momentous Institute and volunteers yearly at their primary fund-raiser, the Byron Nelson Golf Tournament. She holds a BA in Economics from the University of California, Los Angeles.
