Services & Goals
Youth Empowerment Services are community-based services to children and adolescents with severe emotional disturbances. Children at risk for out of home placement are served by a team of mental health professionals who create an individual treatment plan and utilize a wrap around treatment approach to encourage and sustain family placement. By utilizing the wrap around process and accessing area resources, this service model allows CFGC to maintain our program goals to:
Who is Eligible?
Services are provided in the following counties:
Dallas, Ellis, Hunt, Kaufman, Navarro, and Rockwall.
Families seeking services should meet the following criteria:
Children ages 3-18 years old.
Reside in a non-institutional setting.
Serious functional impairments that include:
Risk of Harm
Poor School Behavior
Current Mental Health Diagnosis
Expectation that the child or adolescent would qualify for inpatient care.
Child or adolescent must be eligible for Medicaid.
